i watched the rally on the comedy channel – it was heartening to see how many “individually minded” people took the time to attend – try to make their voices heard with the signs they brought and to attempt to “restore sanity” in one manner or another – i just wonder WHY the majority of them (especially the young people) never bothered to get out and vote at the mid-term elections? it was the large turnout in 2008 of young people that got the democrats into the majority position and obama elected – are they NOW too busy and self-involved to make it to the election booths? – or have they given up on their attempt to make this country a better place for all of us? i just have to wonder!
