At 7:00 pm on Friday, Andrew Byers of the Shaleshock Action Alliance will speak about the issues regarding natural gas drilling. Shaleshock is a New York State coalition of groups concerned about the environmental and community impacts of natural gas drilling into the Marcellus Shale. Andrew lives in Ithaca, NY and works as a botanist and cook.
This event is sponsored by Luzerne County Citizens for Clean Water. It will take place at the Kingston Township Municipal Building, 180 East Center Street, Shavertown.
